Unfortunately plug-ins are occasionally updating while Firefox is started. In my opinion, this could be done in thread behind and plug-ins could be updated while Firefox is closing, not opening.

It's a pity because Chrome is really great. Why you don't use Opera? I heard from my colleagues that this it is better then Firefox?

I'm using Linux, so FF is still the best browser in my mind

I have a love/hate relationship with my FF plugins… I love that they are there. I hate that I have to wait for them to “update” every other time that I launch FireFox. I use Chrome almost exclusively now. It launches faster, and I have to wonder if part of that perf is because it's not open to *every plugin known to man* like FF.
