At Aspire, we believe a healthy body is indispensable if you want to be successful and happy, both at work and in your private life. We also believe that in taking care of your physical fitness, you cannot forget about your mind. A healthy mind in a healthy body, as they say.
That is why we are introducing Mind Spa, a concept already used by Aspire globally. It’s an enrichment of our benefits package you can enjoy as Aspire team member.
Mind Spa is a counselling programme in which you can meet a counsellor and discuss any personal issues that concern you.
The benefits of counselling
It’s normal for people to struggle with significant issues from time to time. These can be triggered by a specific life event such as relationships, job, illness or death of a relative or friend. Alternatively, people may be struggling with ongoing issues such as low self-esteem, lack of confidence, anxiety or depression.
When people are unhappy, they often want someone to share their thoughts and feelings. Although friends and family can be supportive, there are times when you can’t tell them everything. That’s when counselling can help.
A counsellor – in Polish, usually called a psychologist or a therapist – can help you identify underlying problems and issues, as well as assist you in finding the best ways to cope. This can also help you identify constructive ways to deal with a situation that is beyond your personal control.
The initiative, called Mind SPA, is now available for all Aspire Systems team members.
The counsellor listens to you without interfering or imposing their own values and beliefs and give the space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
